Delete your account

1. Open the Account tab.
2. Tap Your details.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account, then confirm.

1. Sign in and open gharfinder.pk/account.
2. At the bottom of the page choose Delete my account, then confirm.

Email privacy@gharfinder.pk from the email address on your account with the subject Delete my account. Include the mobile number you registered with, if any, so we can confirm the request is yours. We will confirm by email once the deletion has been scheduled.

• You are signed out on every device straight away.
• Your account enters a 30-day grace period. If you change your mind, simply sign in again within those 30 days and the deletion is cancelled.
• After 30 days the deletion is final and cannot be undone: your name, email address, mobile number and profile photo are permanently removed; your listings and their photos and videos are taken down; your devices and notification settings are deleted; any identity documents you submitted for verification are deleted.
• Messages you exchanged with other users stay in their inbox, as their record of the conversation, but your name and details are replaced with “Deleted user”.

We keep an anonymised record that cannot identify you, for fraud prevention and to meet legal obligations, and server logs for a limited time for security. We do not keep your personal details after the grace period ends. See our privacy policy for how we handle information in general.
